“ V ery tasty food, had a mix of different things and everything was perfect! Staff so nice and friendly, place clean and nice environment as well. 100% recommend if you are near by ”
“ If you're craving authentic South Indian flavors in Bangkok, the *Idly Sambal* at Shree Bhavan is a must-try. The idlis were soft, fluffy, and perfectly steamed, with just the right level of lightness. The sambar was the star—aromatic, well-spiced, and packed with vegetables like carrots, drumsticks, and onions, giving it a hearty texture. The coconut chutney was fresh and creamy, balancing the tanginess of the sambar beautifully. The portion size was generous, making it a satisfying meal. Perfectly steamed, pillowy idlis Flavorful, well-balanced sambar Fresh coconut chutney Good portion size A solid choice for South Indian comfort food in Bangkok. If you're missing the taste of Chennai or Bangalore, this place delivers. Would definitely recommend! ”
“ Amazing food...authentic pure South Indian taste, worth a visit! Must try ”
“ Coming to a foreign country and getting to eat our Indian food is a delight in itself.. Happy with the food and service ”
“ Great cheap authentic indian food. Energetic music. All the food was great! I like sampling lots of tastes so I ordered: Rasam vada - my favorite Mysore Masala Dosa - great Mix parantha - great Mango shake - nice and thick and cooling The only semi-bad thing about this place is that the Pratunam Night Market, which is beyond massive, is right outside and the streets here aren't square so it can be hard to find the restaurant. Just turn your GPS on, this place is worth the adventure! ”
“ Got my attention because of the raving reviews. And to be honest, the food reminds me of my hometown. It’s a no brainer that they have 5k reviews. I’m ecstatic and foodgasmic. It’s a must place to visit for all Tamilians in Bangkok. Update Day 2: South Indian Thali Delicious and got varieties like how in India ”
“ The reviews don't lie, the food was so phenomenal!!!! We got the plain paratha (2, and then 2 more because it was so good), plain and tomato rice, and the palak paneer and dal makhani curries. I also ordered a mango lassi (perfect consistency and depth of flavor and spices). Highly recommend any and all, I don't think you can go wrong. The food takes a little longer to come out but the food is clearly made fresh by order so it's beyond worth it. Easily the best South Indian food I've had, would recommend for beginner or pro alike. ”
“ This place is a saviour for those craving for south Indian food in Bangkok. Possibly better than a hand-full of leading restaurants in India as well when it comes to taste and variety. They should be the poster boy for anybody wanting to try vegetarian south indian delicacies in Bangkok. We were travelling with 2 infants and 3 more vegetarians in the group. The food here was lip smacking and something everyone in the family enjoyed. The staff are very kind and pricing is inexpensive. Highly highly recommend a visit, specially if you are craving Indian vegetarian food. ”
